In libpcap 1.10.5, two structures that we relied on, pcap_timeval and
pcap_sf_pkthdr, were made private. As a workaround, we initially
defined the structures in pflogd.h. After further investigation, mostly
by kp@, we concluded that it is reasonable to define these structures
ourselves since they represent a file format and thus are unlikely to
change from under us. We will stick with this solution but move the
definitions out of the header file to prevent others from using pflogd.h
to access them.
Another solution that was considered was using libpcap's pcap_dump()
function to write packets, but there are blockers. For example, pflogd
writes to a memory buffer, and libpcap lacks support for this.

`execute` and the old `spawn` without argument. However, sequential
tasks might be executed by any worker thread (non-deterministic),
leading to non-determinism output for ld.lld -z nocombreloc (see

In addition, the extra member variables have overhead.
This sequential task has only been used for lld parallel relocation

This both saves the buffer for freeing later and saves the packet
pointer and snapend to be restored when packet processing is complete,
even if an exception is thrown with longjmp.
This means that the hex/ASCII printing in pretty_print_packet()
processes the packet data as captured or read from the savefile, rather
than as modified by the PPP printer, so that the bounds checking is
correct.
That fixes CVE-2024-2397, which was caused by an exception being thrown
by the hex/ASCII printer (which should only happen if those routines are
called by a packet printer, not if they're called for the -X/-x/-A
flag), which jumps back to the setjmp() that surrounds the packet
printer. Hilarity^Winfinite looping ensues.
Also, restore ndo->ndo_packetp before calling the hex/ASCII printing
routine, in case nd_pop_all_packet_info() didn't restore it.

This update fixes building bc on FreeBSD with non-default compilers
(GCC-12, GCC-13). GCC warned about casting argv from non-const to const

The usual way of handling process exit exit in capsicum(4) mode is
by using process descriptors (pdfork(2)) instead of the traditional
fork(2)/wait4(2) API. But most apps hadn't been converted this way,
and many cannot because the wait is hidden behind a library APIs that
revolve around PID numbers and not descriptors; GLib's
g_spawn_check_wait_status(3) is one example.
Thus, provide backwards compatibility by allowing the wait(2) family
of functions in Capsicum mode, except for child processes created by
pdfork(2).

This was caused by main() being declared with "char *argv[]" as the

This is a production release to fix three bugs, none of which
affects well formed scripts on FreeBSD:
The first bug is that bc/dc will exit on macOS when the terminal
is resized.
The second bug is that an array, which should only be a function
parameter, was accepted as part of larger expressions.
The third bug is that the value stack for dc was cleared on any error.
However, this is not how other dc behave. To bring dc more in line
with other implementations, this behavior was changed. This change is
why this version is a new major version.

Don't provide default linkage for jemalloc 3.0 compatability symbols.
We stopped declaring these interfaces with the introduction of jemalloc
4.0 prior to FreeBSD 11.0. Any code using them would have had to
declare them manually so stop declaring them and export the symbols
directly for compatability. Arguably they should be x86 only as they
were never declared on other Tier-1 architectures.

[utils/TableGen/X86CompressEVEXTablesEmitter.cpp] Make sure the tablegen output for the `checkPredicate` function is deterministic (#84533)
The output for the `checkPredicate` function was depending on a
`std::map` iteration that was non-deterministic from run to run, because
the keys were pointer values.
Make a change so that the keys are `StringRef`s so the ordering is
stable.
This avoids non-determinism in llvm-tblgen output, which could cause
differences in the generated X86GenCompressEVEXTables.inc file. Although
these differences are not influencing the meaning of the generated code,
they still change a few bytes in libllvm. This in turn influences all
the binaries linked with libllvm, such as clang, ld.lld, etc.

[CalcSpillWeights] Avoid x87 excess precision influencing weight result
Fixes #99396
The result of `VirtRegAuxInfo::weightCalcHelper` can be influenced by
x87 excess precision, which can result in slightly different register
choices when the compiler is hosted on x86_64 or i386. This leads to
different object file output when cross-compiling to i386, or native.
Similar to 7af3432e22b0, we need to add a `volatile` qualifier to the
local `Weight` variable to force it onto the stack, and avoid the excess
precision. Define `stack_float_t` in `MathExtras.h` for this purpose,
and use it.
This is the version of the fix for PR276961 that landed upstream.

In preparation for applying the fix that landed upstream, this reverts
commit 397c2693fa66508cb5e6b173650a1f3bc6c4dd4f:
Fix llvm register allocator for native/cross build differences
Work around an issue in LLVM's register allocator, which can cause
slightly different i386 object files, when produced by a native or cross
build of clang.
This adds another volatile qualifier to a float variable declaration in
the weightCalcHelper() function, which otherwise produces slightly
different float results on amd64 and i386 hosts. In turn, this can lead
to different (but equivalent) register choices, and thus non-identical
assembly code.

Note this is a temporary fix, meant to merge in time for 13.4. As soon
as upstream has a permanent solution we will import that.

[DeadStoreElimination] Use SmallSetVector (NFC) (#79410)
The use of SmallSetVector saves 0.58% of heap allocations during the
compilation of a large preprocessed file, namely X86ISelLowering.cpp,
for the X86 target. During the experiment, the final size of ToCheck
was 8 or less 88% of the time.

[DSE] Fix non-determinism due to address reuse (#84943)
The malloc->calloc fold creates a new MemoryAccess, which may end of at
the same address as a previously deleted access inside SkipStores.
To the most part, this is not a problem, because SkipStores is normally
only used together with MemDefs. Neither the old malloc access nor the
new calloc access will be part of MemDefs, so there is no problem here.
However, SkipStores is also used in one more place: In the main DSE
loop, ToCheck entries are checked against it. Fix this by not using
SkipStores here, and instead using a separate set to track deletions
inside this loop. This way it is not affected by the calloc optimization
that happens outside it.
This is all pretty ugly, but I haven't found another good way to fix it.
Suggestions welcome.
No test case as I don't have a reliable DSE-only test-case for this.

For some reason execenv::exec() isn't successfully marked noreturn
(rlibby reports that virtual functions can't be noreturn), but calling
methods are so gcc rightly complains. Work around this by adding
explicit __builtin_unreachable() calls.
